Dr. Joe H. Slate PhD & Retired District Judge Sam Masdon.
Joe H. Slate is a licensed psychologist, researcher, and International author. He holds the Ph.D. from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) with post-doctoral studies at the University of California (Santa Barbara). He is Professor Emeritus at Athens State University and Honorary Professor at the University of Montevallo. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and Platinum Registrant in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Dr. Slate’s professional experience includes Professor of Psychology, Head of Behavioral Sciences, and Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Athens State University where he introduced parapsychology into the research and instructional program, a first for the State of Alabama. He served as Director of Psychological Services at Retreat Mental Hospital (Decatur, AL) and Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. He established the Parapsychology Research Institute and Foundation (PRIF) and has funded scholarship program at Athens State University and the University of Alabama. Research by Dr. Slate has been funded by the U. S. Army, the Parapsychology Foundation of New York, and numerous private sources.
His research into electro-photography has been featured on numerous radio and television programs including the History Channel’s Vampire Secrets.
Dr. Slate was also featured by the NEA (National Education Association) on their website for his body of work and contributions to the subject of Rejuvenation, and other health related topics. Full Story HERE!
Retired District Judge Sam Masdon: Sam’s first encounter with the paranormal was from 1973 to1977 when he was serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Italy and Turkey during which he attended several seances. Sam also served in the Internal Affairs office for 23 years which include UFO occurrences.
Sam Masdon is a retired Alabama District Judge and currently has his law practice in Montgomery, AL.
Dr. Slate and Sam Masdon both will be sharing many of their interesting experiences so don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear two Lectures. .
